The Santander Valid-Eight is an innovation challenge open to any Santander employee around the world. The challenge, starting on Monday June 24th, is facilitated through four time-bound phases that will demonstrate how rapid lean customer-centric experimentation can deliver confidence quickly in product development and business approval. As ideas progress through the innovation funnel teams (or individuals) will be offered additional resources and hands-on coaching with innovation experts. Eventually the up to a couple dozen teams will present in front of a panel of judges to determine which handful will progress to the MVP Build Phase. During this phase, teams will receive additional resources to bring their idea to life and validate, in the open market, its potential using our Innovation Framework.
The intent and spirit of this competition is to immerse participants in a culture of Innovation. We believe this will allow us to maximize what we believe is our differentiating factor - combining our global industry expertise, with the latest technology and ways of working.
Any Santander employee can participate in the Challenge by either submitting an idea or supporting and engaging in ideas that other submit. Teams will be encouraged, and additional team members can be tagged and added to an idea via Nos.Co for easier cross-collaboration.
